Yet another voice in favor of dumping all the Ashur/Liquidation stuff. It really, really fits in a small subset of decks.

Though maybe I shouldn't be saying that. The more people who run that module, the worse it will be for all of them.

At any rate, I think it is suboptimal in this deck and can give you a number of points to support that opinion.

1) You're using using it for a Master package that isn't even necessary: 9 OBF Masters. Increase your Veil, Cloak and Psychic Veil counts instead of counting on individual based stealth, it is more efficient. If a nerd gets blocked, oh well. Just so long as it wasn't on a Con Boon.

2) One of the obscured functions of Liquidation/Ashur module in Girls Will deck is to supplement the pool recursion (Villein) with pool generation (Liquidation + Ashur's). That way, if minions get jacked up in combat before the Villein (usually 1st turn after influencing), the deck can still recupe pool and keep playing.

You already have significant pool generation (Con Boon), so layering the extra stuff on top is redundant. To say "I won't generate enough pool early" seems strange given the number of successful breed-boon decks already in existance.

3) Your MPA/turn is fixed. Your minion actions will increase significantly over the course of the game. Shouldn't you be building your deck to support the growing resource that helps you oust (even if it is Psychic Veil + swarm bleed), instead of the fixed one? Otherwise, you will certainly end up with a lot of minions who have little to do.

Those 23 Masters could be a lot of actions and some stealth. Seems better to me, given you want to have 10 minions in play, and that that point, you want 5 times more actions than Masters on a per-turn basis.

How would you plan to fix 5 Masters in-hand, especially pre-Parthenon (or if it gets stolen/contested/burned?

4) Girls Will decks also gets bounce from Masters, while you get nothing bur potential hand jam.

5) Any/every other Ashur's deck will compete with you to a 3-stack, frequently beating you and making that whole module resource-draining instead of resource replenishing.

Some of those other decks will be degenerate with respect to card counts - if they lose one race to Ashur's, their deck still works. Others won't be dependant on the cards in the ash heap until late game - if they lose a race, it's OK if they can win a later one. You however, have modest counts of everything and NEED the Con Boons after a brief breeding period. If you lose the first race with a significant fraction of your boons in the ash heap, you are likely in a world of pain. How can this risk be worth the modest pool you would get from a couple of Liquidations?

Enough already :S

If you insist on pursuing this module, please at least put Rumors of Gehenna in your vote deck, making you a little more likely to win the Ashur's races and decreaing the proability of Master jam. You could potentially replace 2 of the Parthenon in this fashion (and it's another "harmless" vote you could Cryptic Rider against.)

BTW - that suggestion for Cryptic is really good. On top of the fact that several votes you are running will pass easily (allowing you to chain votes) it also offers protection against Delaying Tactics for Con Boons you happen to draw mid-turn.

It's funny. What I see lately is people randomly throwing 4 Parthenons, 6 Ashurs and 5 Liquidations in a deck and then think it somehow improved their deck. I literally see it in everything: Nephandi, Piper Ghoul, Cryptic Mission etc etc. Congratulations! You have managed to make a slow-ousting deck even slower by devoting 1/6th of your cardslots to a pool generating mechanic. Cool, so you're slightly harder to oust now and oust significantly slower. Your deck is also worse.

What people see is "OH MY GOD THIS GIRLS DECK IS SO POWERFUL BECAUSE OF LIQUIDATION AND ASHUR!". Not only is this wrong, for half a dozen reasons various people have already repeated numerous times on this forum, it is a fact that proper use of Liquidation/Ashur tech requires significant deck infrastructure to actually improve your deck. You can't just randomly add 15 masters and then say "hey look at this epic poolgain/card recovery module I have. I will win more now!". As the poster above me said, how are you going to deal with 5 masters in your hand? How exactly is ~12 pool over the course of the game going to make you win more? What happens when your Tablets get Suddened?

Actions and action modifiers are ultimately the cards that kill your preys and get you gamewins.

I couldn't agree more. Adding the Ashur+Parthenon+Liquidation module into any old deck is the worst tech mistake since people that used to think playing a "rush" deck without +bleed was acceptable.
