Dissolution - Blacktown Qualifier Results.
Final Round Time Taken - 2h10m
Craig Kordiak (!Tor Toolbox) > Michael Tomkins (OBF/PRE Anarch Speed-bleed) > Stephen Harris (Nadima PRO/SER Wall-ish) > James Bonham (Uta & Valerius Wall) > Jon Darbro (Cryptic Mission)

James Bonham was asked to play in the final because the 5th placed James Floate had to leave because of transportation. Although I ranked above James, not playing allowed there to be a Judge who was not playing in the final.

Final Round Game Wrap-up

Michael Tomkins came hard out of the blocks, cycling cards like he was Lance Armstrong on extra illegal substances, bleeding as hard as he could between the two wall-ish decks. The game seemed to kind of grind to a point where something had to give. At almost the point where Michael Tomkins had decked himself, he ousted Stephen Harris.
Fame was put on one of Michael's vampires (before ousting Stephen Harris) and James Bonham started dunking minions, as well as Craig Kordiak, which had basically put Michael into an untenable position where had no deck, barely any minions, very low pool, the Edge and Fame. The critical point for Michael came when Craig let Michael keep the Edge while he also had a Fame Vampire in torpor which would have meant Michael would have been ousted by the Fame. Instead, the Fame ousted James Bonham, giving Michael his 2nd VP (and the 2nd VP awarded in the game).
The end game started to grind along. This gave Jon a giant problem, he needed to take both VPs to win. So he had to obliterate Craig without letting Michael Tomkins die. He hammered hard at Craig and took his VP before quickly taking Michael's in the same turn.

Jon walked away with:
- A set of 12 Heather Kreiter Deck-Backers (signed by the Artist)
- An Osebo Starter (courtesy of Steve Harris)
- A Third Edition Booster
- A Lords of the Night Booster
- A Kindred Most Wanted Booster.

All of the finalist were also given a set of pool counters, custom made for VTES Blacktown.

Everyone who came today also got some promos (contributions were made by Steve to the prize support and I am grateful for that) and also got some of the VTES Counters I have (Floatey seemed to certainly appreciate the Pathos Counters for his Reanimated Corpses during the day).

Most likely causes:
1) There is an unresolved tie, on the Methuselah's page.
2) The 5th and 6th place players don't have DQ in the appropriate column on the Methuselah's page.

Congrats Aussies on getting a 10+ player tournament. Have you brought in some new blood?

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.
