We finally got to the second issue of Garou Rim Monthly. Even though many players had a lot to do this weekend, we still got 10 people together. Great going people!

All the better was that we had two newcomers attending their first tournament. Well done Heini with her first scratch-built Assamite deck, and Olli who duly won his first table and bruised his way into the finals! In his first tournament even!

Also, very much gratz to Teemu, who got his first touranment win (and was seriously surprised to hear that this supposedly means he's now qualified to EC in Stockholm. Means he gotta start saving money for the trip already! Stockholm, here comes Joensuu!). Straight from the world of magicky magickery on tournament levels to tournie winning newbie of VtES. Well done mate!

I didn't catch too many glimpses of the finals myself, 'cause of slight nausea and disorienatation from last nights consumption of wine, but from what I saw it was a really tought fight. Teemu and Sebastian eventually faced eachother in the duel, and Teemu banned three of Seba's vampires in a decisive first turn of their duel. The finalists will hopefully write a report of sorts on their own.

Anyways, it was great fun, and congratulations to everyone who won either material or mental rewards! And that's basically everyone. Keep it up people, and see you one last time before summer next month in Garou Rim Monthly #3: The Blow Torcher. Blow you next time!

ps. I had trouble posting the Archon.

Tournament level 'NORMAL' inserted in archon does not match with the type 'STANDARD CONSTRUCTED' inserted on calendar:
please check and modify tournament level accordingly, then upload again your archon

How do I fix this? The Archon already says 'constructed' and 'normal' in relevant fields. Is there an issue with the uploading program or am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem with archon. I wrote "standard constructed" to both fields "format" and "level", then it worked just fine.

It works now, thanks.

I think I'll report this issue anyhows, though, since there might be a problem with the system reading the archon fields properly...

Uploaded Archon file approved by me so the results have been entered in player standings.

When people start putting magnums in their flurry of action decks, it says something about the meta... That being said, for defense, Deer rifles might be better.

Actually the tournament is probably misnamed in this thread as wella s the Event calendar.

At least according to my calculations it is not "The Garou Rim Monthly II" but "The Garou Rim Monthly III".
