Seriously though. 11 player tournament, and look at those decks. If you were playing anything not "top tier" you just got ROFL-stomped.

And do you know what the non-finalists were playing?
I don't...
Also, it is a tournament.
People play what they want or deem good enough.
Do you play, say tier 3 decks in a tournament with 10-15 people, tier 2 decks with 16-19 people ad finally resort to tier 1 only when you have 20+ players?

Also since it was the election day I'm seriously disappointed that the winning deck wasn't a political one...

Antti was being a jerk and said (I'm paraphrasing, but it's close to a quote).
"I'm one of the best deck builders. I don't want to share my masterpiece with you because you're just going to copy it.".
Yes, nobody else thought to use Willow-of-the-wisp to bleed with Sha-Enu. Clearly a genius that can't be understood by the common man.
There is some schadenfreude that he lost 2 tournaments in as many weeks with that deck. His ego needs checked.
I know that whatever they were playing they didn't make the cut against 5 very strong decks. And, if your reading comprehension were to progress beyond a desire to form an indignant argument every time you want to respond, you'll see that I didn't mention what other people were playing. I said that the quality of decks would lead worse decks to be slaughtered.
I'm not sure how my Nos-Anti deck would fend against Girls, Nephandus or Stanislava but I am assuming it wouldn't do great.
The level of competition in the euro environment is high, clearly, which is evident by the deck selection. It's just not like that here in the states, consistently anyways. I would feel bad playing a high tier deck in an 11 player tournament. That's not a judgement of people who want to do it. I just realize the game isn't made for competition in its current form. If you want a competitive game, play a 2-player game like Magic or Netrunner.
