Still an useless and very much unneeded card, though...

So, this is your way of telling op that his card is missing "Put this card in play." line?Master cards that are neither investments or locations are burned when played, so it will never get around to affecting anybody.
Still an useless and very much unneeded card, though...

Not that it is any better, but it is more of a "kill random Methuselah" thingSo what you mean is that if my meta has a few decks which capitalize on locations (AAA, Girls, Nephandus, Guillaume, Tzimisce wall deck -- to name a few), I get a card that says "kill target Methuselah?

How do you classify
Antediluvian Awakening, Smiling Jack, Constant Revolution, Tension on the Ranks, Dragonbound, etc, etc?
How many times did you saw cards like this killing someone else instead of the player prey?
Instead of that line of thought, why don't you start to think like: If this card was printed, would I use it? - Should I be afraid of seeing this card on the table if playing with this deck?
What kind of decks could profit from it? - Is it really a Kill random player? - You can always make a arson deck or a disputed territory or even a montecalme deck.
Almost every deck uses locations, might be for intercept, stealth, hunting ground, etc. That is one of the reasons that Arika is so hated.
Regarding the card text, yes the "put this card on play is clearly missing", but ideas first card text l8r.

Euh ? Most deck types use 1 or 2 locations in x1 maximum, and so have a location in play at max. And not every games.
The card is unhelpful for you, because even in the case your predator play a lot of location, you want him to stop use them, not give a VP and 6 pool to your grandpredator. And unlike your example, you can't do anything to make your prey suffer more than the other methuselah.
The card is completelety uninteractive (you can't even sacrifice your locations !), so it's a Very Bad Idea anyhow.
Arika is hated not because its special, even if it help. Arika is feared because she have 4 votes, 3 bleed,
and two other good vampires with vote,
, and good specials. She could be blank, it won't change a lot of thing.
In short, you have a bad idea, this card is unsalveageable, but it happen to most card idea.

All of those have escape clauses, either to burn the card or to remove the pool damage trigger.Antediluvian Awakening, Smiling Jack, Constant Revolution, Tension on the Ranks, Dragonbound, etc, etc?
