file [Submission] Under Siege (melee weapon fetcher)

Name: Under Siege
Cardtype: Master
Only usable if a (D) action has been performed against you (or something you control) since your last turn.
For each ready minion you control, you can search your library for a non-unique melee weapon and equip that minion with it. Shuffle afterwards.

Very interesting.
Meat hook gets better, definately.

Since most non unique melee weapons suck, namely due to cost, id say its safe. Maybe it could cost a pool. Maybe...

Original version was "A Methuselah can play only 1 Under Siege each game." but I forgot to write it.
I don't think it's worth paying more pool than the cost of the melee weapons you'll get.

Just because melee weaps are unplayable in most cases, I doubt that it justifies giving a card with no real requirements, easy to cycle, improving general cardflow of a deck and giving free mass +2 or more strength (think disciplineless weenies).

However, if limiting this goodness for a single clan, e.g. Assamites, it could be just not-over-the-top good.

Edit:

I don't think it's worth paying more pool than the cost of the melee weapons you'll get.

Ah, you forgot to add "pay cost as normal" as well?

The cyclability is a problem. I would add the requirement to have minion without melee weapon ; this way, the card could not be cycled to easily. The first one would be very easy to play, the other less so.

The main thing to check would be wether Garrote or Wooden Stake are too easy to use with this card. In this case, the once per game per methuselah would be better.

In an average 80-90-card deck, including one of these, it comes out at card 40-45. So in the majority of games, you've already gone through 40 cards before you get to it. But to include many more is annoying, from a point of view of wasting master slots, master-jam, competing with copies of Blood Doll or Dreams of the Sphinx or whatever. Especially with a "once [per Methuselah] per game" restriction. And there's no secondary usage of it.

Would a slightly weaker card with a secondary/alternative use be appropriate? Say:
Give some melee weapons to some guys. Or, alternatively, as a master-out-of-turn, one of your ready minions with a melee weapon does something cool.

Or perhaps make it weaker but a Trifle, so it's easier to cycle - I can still play a Haven Uncovered or Fame or something if I want. Say (casual wording):
Master. Trifle.
For two of your minions, equip them with a non-unique melee weapon from your hand, ash-heap or library. (Pay cost as normal.)

Is it easier to convince myself to put 2-3 of those in a deck? Maybe.
