Sorry to cherry pick, but yes - they are one and the same clan. And if vampire would be done again they would be just sabbat ventrue.

Concerning Cappadocian clan, it's extinct - even more rare than HoS, Samedi and Nagaraja. There are few of them either hidding or serving giovanni like Constie. Nobody except canite historian know them.

Of course those are fine for Dark Ages themed set.

So would you need to publish some rules to modify the current game to play these with?

E.g. Broadly, no sects, no Tremere, electronic devices, or guns.

Or would you create Dark Ages equivalents of some of the other popular cards E.g. Horsed Messenger as equivalent equipment for Sport Bike, granting +1 Intercept to the minion; Bow and Arrows instead of a .44.

I feel like I'd be better off with a blog instead of flooding the forums here.

There is a special "Vampire: The Eternal Dark Ages " supplementary rulebook I am editing including: Cards that work for both settings, Rules for domain cards and a couple other things.
