It looks good. Good work!
I wonder if it would be a tad better, if the line would split the mat into 1/3 for uncontrolled/torper and 2/3 for ready. Hm.

Nice designs.
I'd suggest to keep the Ankh as in Gines' photo as a proximate divider for discard, library and crypt vs. uncontrolled region.
Or even one Ankh each between discard / library / crypt / uncontrolled.
With the size of your mat that might end asymmetric though but IMO that's not necessarily bad.
And I'd prefer a bigger tri-snake symbol, or, like, three of your size.
Why waste all the available space

Actually, that would be a bit too much. There is no need for a divider, because different player prefer different locations for their library, crypt and ashheap.

the printed plan from old times had such a fixed layout with card outlines.
THAT was too much IMO.

hey, that's why print-on-demand with different versions or even dial-your-own-layout wuld be super-cool.Actually, that would be a bit too much. There is no need for a divider, because different player prefer different locations for their library, crypt and ashheap.

I too think that may be a little too busy with all the segregated areas. I know some of my players put their crypt and Library cards in different locations on the table than me, so I think that may not be the best final idea. Good idea though, dont get me wrong. I have been trying to add and tweak things as well but keep coming back to, "It just looks too messy and distracting" when I add more things. I can however make the tri-snake bigger.
