Programming being done by someone with V:TES familiarity. Think he did well at limited play or, like, whatever.

These days, he's dropped all the way down to a tie for sixth most tournament wins in the Hall of Fame.

Still the leader in the Matt race, though.

Idea to digitalize card games always looked very illogical to me.

Because of Lackey or some other reason?

If because of options like Lackey, one thing about Traveller is that many of the backers of the first KS weren't customizable card game players. The easier we can make it to enable players to play and play with people through a virtual table, the more we can address potential players not plugged in to existing card game play.

Because videogames is completely different medium and you should utilize it's means to transfer your game idea to the audience.

It's like recording of the theater play - to make a movie will be much better.

Not an absolute truth. Theater and movies are two very different mediums despite their superficial similarities. It is possible to create much for the stage that might not have such an impact on a movie screen. Recording a play might not be ideal, but it has benefits over adapting the play into a movie.

The success of online, digital card games make a strong case for the strengths of digitalizing card and board games.
