Don't really play digital games, but one of my all time favorite games, Star Realms (which I love as physical game so very much) works really very very well in digital too!

Idea to digitalize card games always looked very illogical to me.

History would seem to indicate it's perfectly logical. Walk into any casino and you have table poker and video poker. Traditional card games have a decades-long history of successfully translating to digital mediums, and TCGs follow the same trend. Digitized card games work.

Idea of the game of poker is a game of poker you can't transfer it by other means. It s not true for 99% of other board games ;)

Well, the numbers for Magic Online speak for themselves. I don't think thousands of players are wrong.

This a really good option for players living outside major cities or that want to maximize testing for tournaments.

I would love to see this happening to V:TES. I have little experience with Lackey but the platform is IMO, well, lacking.

Thousands of players for online game of such prominance as MTG is laughable.

I said thousands like I could said bazillions.

"As of February 2007, Magic Online has over 300,000 registered accounts; this does not represent the true number of players, since people are allowed to register multiple accounts."

I get you don't like your traditional games to be digitized so people could easily access them but not everybody thinks like you and there's no point in being toxic for the sake of it.

As a person who lives far away from any community Magic Online has been an absurd tool for me to jam games without having to wait more than a couple of minutes. From my home.

I hope nothing but the best to this KS and that we can get something similar for V:TES soon too.
