file What exactly is "Block resolution"

Are you seriously suggesting reclassifying a Block Attempt as an Action?
The implications are not only massive, but adds a world of complexity.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you.

No, they are saying to mention block attempts in section 6.1 of the rulebook, where actions are first described. I'm not sure I agree, but then again, I would completely revise that section. The flow chart example they provide is definitely interesting. Not necessarily the information they included in the flow chart, but the more general idea of visual representations of when to play cards has merits.

Im suggesting added it as an Interrupt action. And there is no implication because it it's an interrupt action right now. It has initiation and effect to resolve

Where player is forced to make a decision to akt it's actually an action.
So Block right now forces a player to actually decide if you block or not with a ready minion. And if block is successful you resolve its effect - combat.

The only difference from other action in VTES right now is that this action has a specific trigger (other player making an action) and all other action don't. It doesn't change anything in gameplay it's only explains what actually is happening right now.

Fine, as long as we agree that it can't be called an "action", because that is just too confusing.
Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding.

A successful block doesn't mean a failed action in V:TES.

There are cards that continue the action after a successful block.

So you have a situation where both the block and the action are successful.

You're not accounting for this in your flow chart / logic.

I have simple flow chart for vtes rules.

1) ask karl
1a) hope karl knows what he is talking about

2) if no karl flip coin

3) if no coin quit game

4) do not use logic under any circumstance
