When does Lutz ability trigger?

Lutz has been originally ruled that if Lutz' was removed by the reult of a passing referendum, that his special would strill trigger.

This seems to be not the case anymore with the rewording.

Since this has been (mis)interpreted in different ways all the time, I ask for a quotable clarification that Lutz' special does NOT trigger anymore, if he is removed by the effects of a referendum, be it that it was reversed, or that the ruling is moot by new cardtext.

Since you write "both performed after the referendum passes, that is after resolution" du you mean "after resolution of the referendum" or explicetly "after action resolution" here?

The latter would have inplications on order with things like voter cap.

To make it a card interaction question:

Your pred has Lutz
you are at one pool
You play a vote (lets say cold war, so it doesnt deal damage to you)
if passes with a margin of at least 1

Can you play voter cap superior to save yourself?

VC is played after the referendum, meaning you can't save yourself if you're ousted by referendum's effects.

Is that really the case? E.g. if Hedonism on was played during the action, there is still a queued combat. So I in this case I thought "after referendum" would be in-between the two different effects (referendum and combat).



(Same as Guardian's ability can queue a combat "after bleed resolution", still part of action resolution.)

So in this case, Lutz' ability should IMO trigger before you can play Voter Cap, not being able to save oneself.
