Correct. With the release of "Backroom Deal" I fell into a thought experiment that led me to the titled question.
following scenario:
You control Victor Gerard (or Vidal Or Mata Hari )
Backroom Deal is a card requiring a Primogen, therefore implicitly requreing a Camarilla Vampire.
No, Victor is not a Camarilla vampire, and not seen as one by Backroom Deals. Can another Primogen you control, play "Backroom Deals" to while Victor Gerard is acting, to give him +1 Stealth?
Correct. While on the first glance it seems like a clear "no", since the rolebook clearly says:
Minion cards are played by the minions (vampires and allies) the Methuselah controls.
Correct, because the card is Implicitly played by the Methuselah too.BUT
there are several cards that refer to minion cards played by "you", either implicitly, or excplicitly:
Powerbase Tshwane always has been used to discount the Pool cost of Minion cards, like allies, despit it saysing "cards you play"
No, because it requires the card to be played explicitly by you or Victor. So if we assume these as default behaviour of the game, that a card played by your minions is implicitly played by "you", the methuselah, that would mean, a Backroom Deals played by a primogen is also played by "you" and you should/could be able to use Victors special to play it "as if here where a camarilla vampire" and therefore give him stealth, as the card now sees him as camarilla.
