The problem here is that you're still fighting combat with combat and just end up killing eachother. In the meantime you're not ousting your prey and someone else is winning.

I personally prefer Torn signpost/slam/grapple/taste route. After 1-2 of those treatmans, followed by a second tradition or two when they try to leave torpor quickly persuades them too look the other way

How about ranged strikes plus Target: Vitals?
Stickmen with zipguns would be a good example, just look out for Canine Hordes! FOR also has Hidden Strength and Indomitability.
I've been using S:CE pretty effectively, but I am usually sporting presence.

+1. Strength of this deck is not combat, it's also bleed and mmpa. You shurely can beet it in combat, but you will lose to other aspects.
Tau. Theft of vitae beets bats+crows. And you also can play dominate.

Animalism combat have no way to shut down combat end. I know I hate it when I'm playing my G3-4 Ahrimanes and my opponent drops a Majesty or Staredown.
You play 1 card, they've played 2-3 cards. You win in that exchange.

combat folds to
- always has and always will. The best defense is to play a couple Walks of Flame to discourage them from pressing and/or drop all your Apportations for Movements of the Mind.
