This isn't necessarily true. You could run fewer PS and/or SR/W and just run Saulot with a crypt of weenies, who could take many actions to do nothing else other than remove the Pentex. If Saulot gets pentexed your game is over, therefore you have to include at least 2 Pentex Subversion and 2 Wash/sudden would also do good.

Weenies can´t overcome a dedicated blocker( akunanse/tremere/tzimisce/weenie auspex), if they have no stealth; therefore is good to have weenies to overcome a "casual" Pentex or Rotschreck, but to solve the obstacle it´s better to have Pentex/Master defense on your deck.
On multirush decks Pentex also means one rush less you have to make to control table.
You can also negotiate with other players to get the Pentex removed ( or contested), but it´s better to have resources to solve the situation by your own. Think also that negotiation in the Saulot case it´s particulary difficult; because this monster can vaporize other vampires like they had never existed.
PD: If Saulot should have dementation, treat the sick mind could be used, but he sadly he has no dementation.

Make the weenies !Salubri. Shadow of Taint is a brilliant card at
and it would be seriously hilarious to watch a Pentex make its way back to its owners vampires using Shadow of Taint...

It doesn't work: Telepathic Tracking does not start a new combat.* Play as many Vitae Blocks as you own. Vitae Block + Anesthetic Touch + Telepathic + Vitae Block is going to put down most minions.

Yep -- I realised this a little after posting. It does work (although a little less effectively) with Blissful Agony. I still think Vitae Block + Anesthetic Touch is a strong combination.
