IMO potence definetily doesn't suck against allies, its one of the few combat types that has no problems killing allies dead. Torn Signpost + slam alone kills pretty much every combat ally except for War Ghoul and Remnant of the Endless Storm. Only real problem ones are the immune to non-agg ones, Ponticulus especially as he is the only at least somewhat commonly seen one. Just don't go overboard on the cards not usable against allies (disarm/pulled fangs mainly).

Potence is decent against an ally. It's horrible against multiple allies. You're trading blood and potentially multiple combat cards against a single card and can't even Taste. It's a losing equation in the long run, at least against Shamblers and Nephandi.

Dunno if its so bad against nephandi, trading one signpost or undead strength and 1 blood to 2 pool from your prey sounds like a good trade to me.

FBI ruins pot combat decks in my opinion. I have experience playing games where I have multiple superior POT rush guys and 60+ combat cards, and absolutely no hope of ousting some WG/shambler/whatever deck, because of FBI and the shortfall of taste.

Anyway. I like Guardian Angel suggestion as it also helps against aggropokes, and Dragonbound could be pretty funny.

You do know that FBI only has four shots in it before it goes poof?

Of course, but a such a rush deck can't survive hitback of 4-6 when it can't taste, and having to endure it four times is too much.

EDIT : cursed summer... Fell asleep for maybe 3 hours, now I'm awake because it's so hot and I'm trying to get sleepy with vodka. It doesn't work. There goes my shot at the tournament, and this has happened before, let's say you get lucky and get to finals - then you botch it because your'e half asleep.
