Are you sure about it? I was told by the judge on EC that blood hunt referendum that is result of abactor is an part of an action, so there is no way to use heidelberg in the meantime.

I was trying to dig up ideas about Capuchin decks. Anyway, you're right Alek: one can't use the Heidelberg Castle before the blood hunt.

No. The Castle cannot be used until after the action is over. The referendum is
conducted before the action is over, albeit independently of the action.

I don't like this idea because if someone steals Ponticulus, you lose the Talbot as well. Even if losing Ponticulus means someone has to take damage during the untap, I'd prefer to keep the Talbot with me.
