Sanguine instruction can be played only on a vampire from the same clan, so it's not an option. Duplicates are a little problematic, but having infernal pact and heidelberg quickly is essential so there is no space for compromise here. And people play more suddens/washes these days so additional copies could be handy.


Ahh, my mistake on Sanguine, sorry.

There's still Infernal Familiar, and you don't seem reluctant to spend actions on retainers. If your game is going well you'll get no additional benefit from drawing another Infernal Pact, while the Familiar could allow you to have yet another vampire capable of Spirit Marionette.

Perhpas The Barrens to help with card cycling?

It seems good to have third minion with OBE and her special is very good with marionetes, but paying 9 pool for it is huge. Wasn't that a problem


I've been playing Saulot + Eurayle recently and the 3 extra pool is always scary when it comes off but with Saulot's special you get her out in the following influence phase which is always good :) or at least that's how I play it if they both appear in the starting crypt.

There is also the fun of letting a marionetted-vamp burn, because you give them the used up familiar. :-)
(but i doubt your deck will get better from it tbh)

That's 18 pool spent, and starting in turn 5. Against any weenie-kind of deck, you are dead by then :-)

Weenies always tend to wreck their first prey. 3 pool won't make a difference.

Well you could apply that to any stategy vs weenie, you stall and you're screwed. It needs Zillah's/Info Highway and Villein to be able to survive that onslaught!
