Bewitching Gaze (or Dread Oration?)

This is not meant to be taken seriously... It's an exercise in variations of vote push/defense.

Bewitching Gaze

A vampire may not play Bewitching Gaze, Dread Oration, Bewitching Oration or Dread Gaze during the same action. Only usable during a referendum.

Dread Oration

A vampire may not play Bewitching Gaze, Dread Oration, Bewitching Oration or Dread Gaze during the same action. Only usable during a referendum.

Honestly, as a DoC player, I don't like it. Want to play a card that is already a reaction and an action modifier? Yeah, there's a Madrigal for you (and no bounce ).

Also, having any card that is so flexible (modifier/reaction) and that provides 5 votes is way too strong IMO, even with a cost.

I like. Delaying Tactics is a boring card, the game would be more interesting with more transient votes instead.

It's a reaction card. It is safe to assume that the acting vampire could use transient votes to push his vote count (e.g. for Voter Captivation).

I rather have a card that is usable both as an action modifier or as a reaction that can replace Delaying tactics if needed.

Ye I kinda agree here. This would just replace BO altogether. The reason vote reactions are not played because the opportunity cost is too high and it's probably more reliable to play DT anyway.

What we would need is more cards like Wrong and Crosswise that are not useless when nobody is voting and aren't strictly inferior to Delaying Tactics when used for vote defense.

Also, I don't think we are in need of more vote increasing modifiers for presence, because both Ventrue and Toreador are already quite good enough at getting stuff passed.
