Why would that be something people wanted to play? If it's First Strike but without the key benefit of first strike (ending combat early to defend you)... why not just make it a normal speed strike? And then, play WWS.

On the off chance that the target you're using Bike Chain on is Anathema.

Maybe just print out a proxy card called bike chain and get a cool picture and have the safe effect as walking stick?

The card text should include 'only usable before range on the first round of combat' so people don't just drop a new one instantly after using the previous one every time.
