Another change would be the cost of taking a new vampire from the crypt. Now the cost is 4 transfers and 1 pool. I would change it to use your whole influence phase and 1 pool (similar to how we play events). With a bad crypt draw, even the first player could draw a new card on turn 1.


It is a very interesting approach.

The main problem is that cards that give additional transfers would heavily suffer from that.

Maybe it should specify "if you have less than 4 transfer".

Crypt acceleration and extra transfers are very powerful as is. I see little problems in Information Highway getting a slight nerf on the side just to not clutter rules with extra conditions.

But instead of saying 'skip influence phase', say 'spend all transfers' to see a new vampire. This way you'll still have all of your influence phase triggers, like Dreams of the Sphinx etc.

Merge:
Pay 1 pool and 4 transfers and merge from crypt not from uncontroled region.


Epiphany and Legacy change to the same text.

+2 Stealth :burn:
Merge this acting vampire with the base / advanced version.
You can reduce 4 transfers in your next influence phase and burn 1 pool to unlock.


Merged vampires dont win enough and must have a bunch of cards just to enable the proper use.

Discipline cards are Trifle.
This would enable more vampires to be viable in the game and more interesting combinations.


Trifle once per Master Phase, not exactly the "FIRST" master in the MPA
How many times you bought a vessel after a non trifle master?

Burn the edge to gain 1 pool if you start the round with it ( You can only get pool from the edge once per turn )

This would enable more strategic uses of the edge and have will hurt less if you forgot at unlock phase.

All extra MPA effects changes text to: ( Nana, Anson, Parthenon, etc )
You have 2 master phase actions.

This will avoid the "non interactive decks" to abuse MMPA

Seeds of corruption back to the game: Remove card text of the vampire controlled by another metuselah ( keeps clan, sect, title ), burn this card when the acting vampire leave the game.
With the pentex errata we need a new "star killer"

Anthelios back in play: Spent ALL MASTER PHASE ACTIONS and remove a Master card in your hand from the game to get a Master card from the graveyard to your hand.
The main problem with Anthelios are MMPA abuse.

Freak drive: Remove cost, add text: "The acting vampire burn 1 blood to..."

Instead of change the card that is the real problem, the changes at ankara and Una dont need any changes.

You've made the card 'better' only in a mechanically functional sense. Flavor-wise it is lifeless, dull, uninspired. The mechanical effect and timing restrictions do not convey anything interesting to me. At least the original one had some kind of thematic story-telling quality to it. "'Eyes of the Dead', wherein the user of the Necromancy discipline gains a type of clairvoyance through the heavy-lidded eyes of a vampire lost in torpor, seeing beyond the sleep-like fog of eternity."

This game would benefit if BC would go all-out on giving us cool and interesting effects beyond simple temporary stat boosts:

Eyes of the Dead
:reaction: :aus: :nec: +2 intercept vs a vampire attempting to diablerize another vampire, ignoring the normal predator, prey, and targeting restrictions.
:action: :AUS: :NEC: +1 stealth action. Starting with you and going clockwise, each player takes an immediate extra turn, skipping their Master Phase. During this extra turn, no pool can be gained, and only wraiths, mummies, zombies, and vampires in torpor can take actions.

:gang: :CEL: :FOR: :PRO: :cap6: Gangrel. Noddist. Camarilla. Once each turn, LivesByProxy may burn 1 blood to lose Protean :PRO: until the end of the turn and gain your choice of superior Auspex :AUS:, Obfuscate :OBF:, or Potence :POT: for the current action.
