During last weekend one frendly game is played with test new BC contest rule,there predator/prey contest Lydia(True Brujah vampire). I give complete report one of players from table with images

4th round-10 players(9 europe,1 brazil),2 games,2 champions: Europe champion Otso Saariluoma and Lackey world champion Milutin Melka!

In both games we see Cybele deck as big star deck,but both Cybele take 0 VP.

Table 1 very strange,gotcha oust all 5 players with votes,but 2 times kill wrong prey and him take "only" 3 VP.

Table 2 finished By withdraw for Reaper who make deal with Dada,withdraw for Reaper give him GW.

There is also reported 1 frendly game with new contest rules.

Round 5-15 players-3 games,and finaly contest: Baba Yaga is contested on table 3. predator and prey fight each other Baba Yaga,and contest is finished by burning predator Baba Yaga. burned Baba Yaga is not star in deck,there in crypt are vampires as: Enkidu,Matashuntha,Fakir al Sidi. Baba Yaga who survive until end is star vampire. game is finished by time limit.

Another good question raised by Ossian on Discord:

What if a Spell of Life brings out an ally contesting a vampire already in play ?

Is the ally contested and kept out of play while the vampire is kept into play contested ?

This does seem logical but a bit unfair

Another great example why the contesting rule, if changed, should NOT be changed in a manner that let several unique vampires be present at the table!

So many complications involving it, so that can of worms should best be kept shut.

But to me it looks like that the current contestation rule test is nevertheless helpful:
It helps us to understand better why exactly the rulebook version of this rule is "good" and/or "bad".
