i like your idea a great deal! what about imbued though??

One solution for that would be to give control of Pentex to the target's controler. That would turn burning the Pentex into a action against the controler of the minion (similar to the Rescue action)...

What about imbued?
Boris' solution has a lot of merit. In a typical 5-player game, A>B>C>D>E, when A plays Pentex on B's minion, there's little incentive for others to remove it. B wants to, C doesn't want to, D doesn't care, and E may want to. However, there's a good chance A can defend Pentex a little bit, so E may not want to weaken their position. When the table collapses to 4 or fewer, it is even worse--essentially D doesn't exist any more.
However, when the table is down to 3-players, then Pentex becomes stronger because there are two blocking Methuselahs against one acting Methuselah. But, I really don't have much of a problem with this since the game is well established by this point and finishers are a good thing. Plus, the likelihood of someone drawing into their own Pentex to contest, or Sudden Reversal or Wash to cancel it, has dramatically gone up due to the sheer number of cards played.
I think this is definitely worth considering.

D should care, because D's predator has far less pressure.
D should always try to remove it, if D can spare the actions.

Agreed, when possible, and do not think this rises to the level of needing a ban at all.

I think that Pentex Subversion should be banned and replaced by two cards:
Pentex(TM) hates yo mama
Master
[2 Pool]
Unique master.
Put this card on any ready minion. The minion with this card cannot take actions. This card may be burned by any other minion as a action.
and
Pentex(TM) ain´t notin to f**k wit
Master
[2 Pool]
Unique master.

And you have an argument for why this would be a remotely good idea ?
