Our meta loves and hates Pentex Subversion so much we all play 2-3 copies, play or to contest. As it makes for painful/boring games at times.

If I'm playing with big caps I always pack a few Golconda's to play on my pentexed vamp beats just sitting there getting frustrated.

Cross table Allies in our group can be selfish or not give a dam about your pentexed fatty.

While I'm not a fan of banning cards (I'm still a little sad about many unbalanced cards getting banned and not a errata), I'd like to see some change to the cards text as it's over powered and dam cheap in cost for what it can do.

I'm not really a big fan of any card that has the potential to stop you playing cards with a star vamp for possibly most of a game if your playing a star deck. I've stopped playing fat star decks due to the frustration of being pentex'd most of the game or sense dep'd ect.

Maybe if Pentex Sub had some wording to the effect of placing 4 counters on it that are burned in this players untap phase, card is then burned when it has 0 counters. This way the card could still be played for a vp lunge and not totally frustrate or bore the hell out of someone playing a Pentex'd star vamp.

Increase the cost by 1 pool or leave it how it is.
