Yes, Scourge of the Enochean, and a lot of anti-weenie cards that are playable and that you can't handle too well. I am not too sure of what help a weenie political, but I fear a lot of thing destroy it ; so that's kind of a gamble.

An Aranthebes also can mainly kill it, even without serious blocking capabilities. The deck is a boom-or-bust one, and can work even today, but needs modifications. Some stealth, from locations maybe (creepshow casino, monastery of shadows), and more punch (okay, you have votes, but not much forward), KRC-s, Parity-s. A bigger crypt, maybe 15 or so vamps would be also useful, some acceleration (Info Highway, Dreams). This is just at first glance.

So you are saying if I remove a Dramatic Upheaval and a Brujah fron my deck it works on a tourney level.

Almost. You have to remove the banned cards (like Dramatic Upheaval) and you are only to have vampires from consecutive groups (in your case most likely to have vampires from group 1 and 2). Therefore not only Reginald, but also Aimee Laroux and Garret would need to go.

When using a tool like Secret Library (this is the link to your deck), you could easily see where it fails to adhere to the VEKN tournament rules.

I appreciate that 'Cards as read' does not fly on a fancy level, I am bringing a dozen people to the VTES world and am trying to make it easy on them to learn and enjoy.

That's an evil, but in your situation are necessary one. :P

Same reason why we, as a group, said 6 is a limit on cards, spamming makes for a less fun game.

OK. This has been discussed for a long, long time. And if that makes sense for you at the moment, that's fine for me as well.

But please keep in mind (and tell your players), that if you want to participate in a tournament or you want to play with another playgroup, there are very likely to play with no card limit and play with the latest cardtext.

Forgive me for having a 1993 level understanding of this game but when I started it that is what I have to work with.

This did not mean to spiral into neuvo VS old school but for reals, are there any cards I am missing here? I have been without VTES for 15 years.

It's always appreciated to have players introduced or brought back to the game. On the other hand, I (and I suspect most of the other players on this forum, are not willing to give deck advise for a play environment that is so far away from the mainstream VtES.

That being said, if you have questions in general or to specfifc cards or rules, etc. etc. I am glad to help.

So what happens when one player in your playgroup has new banishment, while you have old? What, each player goes by the text of its own card??

Yes! If you want the old effects, you pay the dollar for 10 of that card. If you want the new effects, business as usual.

I am not sure why this is unwise. It seems like such a small trifle to get what you want?

You don't need to own the card with latest cardtext. It is always assumed that a card always has the cardtext. So you have the Majesty from VTES set, but you play it as if it is the one from the Keepers of Traditions.

There's an Android app out there with the (almost) the latest cardtext. Or use another mobile device to look the cardtext up in Secret Library (if somebody has a doubt what the latest cardtext actually is).

That is alot of work and keeping up with things we care not about from the Non-Tourney community. Have fun with your 'Official' business. We will keep playing that game as intended (Not broken) (Misprints Allowed)

Now, that's strange. Be careful with this! This can cause some bad situations outside the playgroup and false power-level judgement about decks. My general andvice would be to scrap that idea, maybe the cardlimit one as well.

About the deck 2: Yes, I saw you had many cards in it from what I mentioned, but you need more of those. Many cards, like Perfect Paragon would be useful to some extent, and voter captivation. In combat, the simple Majesty would be more useful than the current combat section.
