Speaking of Jack Dawson decks, I saw a really cool one using Talbot for great results. Plus when Dawson is merged, it's 3+3, press, 3+3 damage.
the only problem being s:ce, of course, until he gets a master discipline celerity :/

okay, to put it another way, what does Fatima have that Tariq the Silent doesn't?

Five blood, and a lack of universal table hate? :)

a Tariq deck will use his rush ability + diablerie ability + blood hunt immunity at least once every turn. Fatima using her ability once per game for an Assault Rifle isn't getting nearly the same "card advantage" or whatever.

True. My takeaway point is that you don't need to use Vampire X's special text every single turn for it to be useful special text. And I don't think that spending as much pool as possible via Fattie's special is necessarily the best thing to do with her. But like I mentioned, I don't think that Fatima is a good multirush superstar anyway - with an assault rifle, she's more expensive than anybody else, and [for] & breakable gun is more fragile than [POT] & +2 strength, to boot.

Fatima can't try to be another Tariq, so she needs a different path to succeed.

Well, yeah. The two decks play totally differently. Fatima uses the standard rush strategy of turning opposing vampires into pool-damage payload via Dragonbound and Fame. Tariq has got to somehow leverage multi-diablerie into winning - personally I like Oko's addition of Necromancy and Daemonic Possession to accomplish that.

LoL, i actually abundantly use Jack Dawson in an anarch deck posted somewhere here, which utilizes his ability to be a perfect keystone kine/dabbler bleeder. (Which ain't much, but better than nothing). As for his special, he uses it to hit with WWS, best use i found yet :-D

AS for the Fatima deck itself, i took it gaming yesterday and won 2 out of 3 games
And had the shot at GW at the 3rd game!!!

I was actually pleasantly surprised on how stable it was, and i have to say that i do not think it would be as good without being anarch ( diversions saved my skin on more than one occasion, and groundfighting that cancelled a grapple probably made a difference between me winning and losing).

On first game, the seating favored me :

Me >> Al-Muntaquim summon history combat >> Gerald Windham equips and bleeds >> Gazillion wakes Akunanse >> Tariq eats the world

I started fast with revolt, anarch convert and samson, and Al Muntaquim lost 4-5 pool before he influenced him out. Then, to make matters worse, him and Windham start contesting Ankara. I kill with Fatima all support caitif dudes of Al-Muntaquim, not wanting to test him out just yet. In the meantime, Tariq gets his ring and goes to town, but leaves Fatima alone waiting for the proper hand to deal with mighty gun she is totting.

Then all hell breaks loose, as Tariq gets into a scrap with Matata, which plays terror frenzy and beats him down, then eats him with Uchenna. Relieved of pressure, i go for Al-Muntaquim, but he has 2 maneuvers to come to close, though i cancel the dreaded grapple, and survive his hits with prevent, and psyche him down, thus ousting him. At the same time, Gerald Pentexes Matata, plays seduction on uchenna and bleeds for 8!! (pulse+govern+conditioning), Another daring the dawn later, from Jefferson Foster kills the Akunanse.

Tariq player goes in full def mode, And Gerald magic of the smith's himself an ivory bow. However, i fame him, rush him, use fatima's special to equip my ivory bow, dunk him, then untap with monster, dunk his third minion, play dragonbound, he is all in torpor, and cannot get out. I kill Tariq's support crew, and Gerald dies. Then Tariq gets out, but conceedes as i have 2 revolts, and dragonbound and he dies next turn even if he kills Fatima.

Second game:

Me>> Gangrel/!Gangrel deep song/earth meld tap'n'bleed >> !Brujah rush combat >> Gerald Windham >> Tremere Wall

Excellent seating for me. Tremere had little forward movement and had trouble keeping Gerald at bay, while !Brujah went backwards, knowing how dangerous gangrel are, and that we need to eat his earth melds together. With the combination of constant rushing, gangrel fall first, netting me a VP. Gerald, having effectively no predator, tools up. One of his bleeds is bounced to me, which i promptly bounce to brujah. After that, Tremere die, and i manage to survive !Brujah combat, and kill him with second bounced bleed from Gerald. In head to head i think i have him, however he survives a showdown with Fatima with 2 thefts and 3 prevent cards, bleeding me out for 8 in the next turn. Also, he killed my gun with his anarch troublemaker, just in case.

In third game

Me >> Al-Muntaquim summon history combat >> Gangre/!Gangrel tap'n'bleed >> Akunanse >> DOM/PRE princes

Poor Al-muntaquim deck did not draw al-muntaquim in opening crypt. I killed him fast, with lots of little bleeds, fame on his dork and tensions. In the meantime,, Akunanse was giving Princes a hard time, as he was blocking all his govern down actions and all his attempts at politics. Princes got annoyed at that, so they pentexed Matata with raven spy backwards, and parity shifted backwards. !Gangel needed no further encouragements, and after Princes successfully defended pentex with combination of 2nd trad and majesties, Akunanse fell to bleeds. And then , in a long and drawn out game, Gangrel managed to oust the princes in the end, but lost almost an entire deck in the process, so in heads up he did not have enough combat ends to survive. Fatima torpored all his guys and took home win.

Some notes :

Anarch angle is definitely good thing here. Groundfighting saved my skin, so did the diversions. Also, revolts chip away, i feel the key is not to be aggressive with laying them down, one is enough i feel until late game. As soon as you put second in, people start to feel the heat. Also, Steely tenacity is also gold, not thinking about rushes once you get it.

Without dom allies to bounce a bleed or two i would be long dead. Also Fortitude master definitely stays, as combination of superior forced march, swallowed by the night and inherent rush stealth has managed me to have that crucial 3 stealth in last game to hit just the right target at that moment.
