Except that you shouldn't consider it to be an actionless Enchant Kindred. It is something entirely different.

Saying it's different does not make it actually different.

Maybe you have more precise arguments, but I have on somewhat similar deck removed street cred to add enchant kindred, simply because I had more often action to spare than opportunity to play Street cred efficiently.

And saying it is the same makes it the same?

That is kind of my point. If you bleed more frequently with Social Charm instead of bloating with Enchant Kindred, you will have more opportunities to play Street Cred because you are going forward and being a threat. Even if you are bounced, you may be "nice" and strike H2 vs H1 just to play Street Cred. Your bigger vampires have PRE and are the bleeders anyway.

When you are anvil, be patient; when a hammer, strike.

Jeff, your suggestions give the deck more offensive power at the cost of reliability. You won't always be able to pull off a Street Cred after a block, and you could lose out on the 1-2 pool gain. That could be deadly. I wish I had another weekend of V:TES to try it out.

Agreed, aggropoke decks like Tzimisces and Gargoyles are bad match-ups for this deck. Anyone have any good suggestions? I could replace the suprise Target Vitals with a surprise Glancing Blow... ;)

The reverend beat me to it. Here are some possibles:

1) Armor of Caine's Fury- costs a blood, but maybe taste will mitigate this

2) Flack jacket- costs an action and a pool

3) Kevlar- same cost as FJ, adds a little against guns

4) Glancing Blow- reduces hand size

5) Guardian Angel- costs 2 pool, but gives some intercept vs bleeds

I like guardian angel for the deck, especially since you will be enchanting down for pool/bloat. The pool cost may not be that bad. then maybe sprinkle in a little of something else?

"my blood! he... he punched out all of my blood!" -- TF2

my gut feeling tells me that the Enchant Kindred is a better strategy. chaotic bruisebleed to gain pool can be fun, but isn't reliable at all. if anything goes wrong, you usually mess up the table balance. and the worst part is that even in the best case scenario, if your prey takes bleeds to the face early on, that means they react by spending less pool on Vampires. so in the long run you're forced to do even more bleeding and less combat to get a VP.

regarding aggropoke, my opinion is to not worry about it! if you take 1 agg, you just spend an action and 2 blood to come right back out, so it was almost like a Lucky Blow. meanwhile, you have punched them for 3+ damage, and maybe they spent blood to play the Agg hands card, so you usually come out ahead. in this deck you should have plenty of actions to rescue your own vampires. defending against aggropoke is mostly an issue with big 8+ caps who are too important and costly to risk being in torpor. but if you still feel scared of aggropoke, a Guardian Angel should do it.

Iron Glare - has this been a helpful card? seeing how only a few vampires in your crypt can play it, would Aire of Elations or Leverage be better?

Iron Glare has been very good. It's only used in a lunge or the end game. Leverage would be great but when I am ready to oust, the minions with :POT::PRE: will be bleeding, so it's okay that only a few vampires can play it.
