Bay and Howl

Hi all

I have been playing this deck (well there is a newer version, but since i'm on vacations and away from home, I dont have the acurate deck list, this is a old one) for a while.

It has been resiliente and manages to survive almost every deck, but it's slow and any comment or improvement is welcome.

EDIT: Should help with speed, swarm and getting blood back into you pool.

Maybe 90% of the times Ricardo (Powerlord's real name ) played this, I was there. Regretfully, many of those times it was tables of 4.

The biggest problem I see here is that your prey has a big head start, and specially in 5 player tables that can be an issue.

With Leathery Hides, I think Embraces become really strong here and theoretically they improve the output of Bay and Howl.

I would change the Camera Phones with Embraces and put in a Hungry Coyote.

With these cards in your deck, you should really also think about diversifying your bleed modifiers. Consider adding in JS Simmons & Tasha Morgan at least.

Since you are also running a lot of Protean, I'd honestly consider a few Dual Forms to get a bit of multiacting (i.e. Grab a Camera Phone and then Bleed with it)

Blood is an issue here.
He uses far too many turns just hunting.

About this blood problem : Actually, I once tried a bay&howl deck with Xendil and Chalice of Kinship but... Too much moving parts for me.
The thing was : try to make bay and howl "free". There were copies of Rumors of gehenna so I could, counting on Xendils votes (should i say ballots?) +other methuselahs greed, double the Howl if needed.
Would someone be bold enough to try to make something out of it ?
