maybe a gangrel deck with Nadima? give her a few raven spies, maybe a homunculus, and she can Earth Meld all day long.

Kiasyd can also make a good toolbox clan with stealth and intercept and some combat options.

I first thought of Ahrimanes when you described the profile. Many cards has dual functions and can save you deck space. Also, many cards are free and you have some of the best bloat cards. As for combat, you can either go with ani long range or just majesty.

The description made by you fits good with Tremere royalty,bleed and block.
You can choose either crypt 1-2 with Ulug-beg & Cardano, with some multiaction possibilties via fortitude and abuse of Ulug-beg´s special.

Well, yes, I know. I've become a big fan of the toolbox deck though, especially ones with some intercept. In the second tournament I played, my deck needed sources of +1 stealth very badly. Since I didn't have it, my prey could just chump block my bleeds all day. My plan was to mind numb and/or otherwise tap out 1-2 blockers and punish anyone else who popped up with catatonic fear + TV, but it wasn't enough. In the second game, my 2nd prey didn't have bounce but stopped going forward, so a Veil the Legions or a couple +1 stealth cards could have changed things. The idea isn't to win against every deck, that is impossible, just be able to deal with feckless prey.

One deck I made featured KS bleed plus Curse of Nitocris. It was kinda cool because all you needed was to push through one bleed to do 2+ pool damage to your prey. It didn't really have intercept, so it is probably not exactly what I'm looking for.

In a more actually helpful vein, I should look into the 1/2 Nosferatu princes if I were you. Good crypt selection (princes at 8/7/7/5 and mid- and small-caps to support toolboxing), stealth, intercept through Second Tradition. Vote defense and potentially offense through titles as well as access to Nos Justicar. Combat ends in No Trace, if you really need it, though having a bunch of [POT] can also be a good combat deterrent, and is usually better combined with the capacity to block than S:CE is, at least during the endgame.
