Apologies all for the lack of notice - that's entirely my fault. I actually started planning this in the summer but then Real Life (tm) intervened...
Given the comments in this thread so far I'd be glad to expand the legal window for games for the entire month of October (1st-31st).
The results for Budapest weren't posted but I will be announcing them at the EC (and posting them subsequently).

The Cape Town playgroups would really appreciate the extension until the end of October!

I think that the idea for the EC/whatever big tournament Storylines is that they happen more or less during the event.
Naturally you can play to your heart's content after the time period, but only the games played in the given short timeframe will have effect on the storyline.
Good and proper this way IMHO.

Except that there wasn't one for all the other Continental Championships this past year, and all the other players want in on the action too.

With this year's EC everybody can actually get in the action too since the storyline doesn't require players being at the EC's premises.
So quit your whining and use the time you now use for it to build a deck for it/playing the event

It has already been announced several times that if you want a storyline for your Championships/whatever big event just as for it.Except that there wasn't one for all the other Continental Championships this past year, and all the other players want in on the action too.
