If they were so bad, why the outrage at the GotF set?

Whew, lucky! Good thing that the people in the VEKN at the time weren't power-hungry masterminds!

Wait, so when you were gone there WASN'T a coup d'etat? Ok, just checking, because I heard that when this other guy left his VEKN position for a few months, there WAS a coup d'etat, and I just wanted to confirm that wasn't you![Summer 2011]
Away for a summer program, which forced me to miss Origins. Sorry!

It's all about bread and circuses, eh?
::shrugs:: Did I make some mistakes as a designer? Sure, of course I did! That's the nature of the learning curve.
In fact, given that ""designed bad cards and ignored majority playtester feedback" seems to be what you think of LSJ for Lilith's Blessing, I guess I should take your words as a compliment!

Well, the post was more about IC and Storyline responsibilities. Design Team was a separate role.Eric you missed in your timeline

Interesting statement considering where things have gone in the past year...

2. No coup d'etat, but I was blindsided with the abrupt decision to start a new set. As an IC member during this time, I was never consulted on, asked about, or voting on (either way) on this decision. I say this not to complain, but just to say I was significantly surprised and that the environment had drastically changed in such a short period of time.
3. The case of the "other guy" was not an isolated incident. It was part of a pattern of behavior, as evidenced by what he did (and/or failed to do) as National Coordinator and on previous projects (such as the V:TES Strategy Guide).

1. Not to the best of my knowledge, but if I was neglecting my duties, I would have been fine if someone had assumed the responsibilities or I had been asked to resign. You might recall that Carl was once part of the VEKN IC, but he was gracious enough to resign when he no longer had the time to fulfill the responsibilities. And Robert Goudie has also wisely stepped down from various rules (Chairman and later Marketing Director) when he could no longer meet those duties and when he knew someone else could do the job better.
Wait, so when you were gone there WASN'T a coup d'etat? Ok, just checking, because I heard that when this other guy left his VEKN position for a few months, there WAS a coup d'etat, and I just wanted to confirm that wasn't you![Summer 2011]

Explain it to all of us, how horrible the current administration is. It's the culmination of all we've been waiting for, on dozens of threads from the past two years.
