The difference between the two does not come from the fact they are different type and are written differently, like your example.
The difference between the two come from the fact that on Kindred spirit you're implicitely required to do the trigger on success before finishing resolving the action, while you are implicitely required to not do the trigger with the Unnamed

Kindred Spirits is an action card. The Unnamed is a crypt card. Hello?

Except that the rules explicitly explain the difference between the workings of an action card and an action modifier, whereas they do not do this for abilities on crypt cards (for obvious reasons).
So unless you can point me to a section in the rules that state that "abilities on crypt cards that are based around an action behave action-modifier-ish instead of an action card with identical taxt", LSJ's ruling makes no sense.

There's no need for a section in the rulebook. Any card other than an action card that provides an action says so.

And amusingly, Jeremy Wix Wyzchovsky work the same way exactly as computer hacking. But not Kindred spirit vs The Unnamed.

Exactly -- Jeremy's card says his thing is done as an action. That's exactly what's going on here. How is it possible that people keep missing the obvious?

Certainly because the unnamed's ability is not worded "as an action" and has nothing to do with our problem here, making it far less obvious than you pretend? Just sayin !
