A little advice on internet etiquette:
If you are truly interested in coming to some sort of agreement (and we must assume that you are, since this is a forum for "discussing") don't start your posts of with "This is complete and utter nonsense. ", "You know full well that this is complete bullshit.", and more stuff along those lines.
This is not about whether people are too sensitive or not. It's purely a point to increase the quality of the communication.
(if you are only here to rant and don't care about reaching an agreement, then carry on)

Few days ago, during EC'2011 Warsaw, Poland it was announced that for the next year .pdf expansion is planned. It will be free to download and, when printed, it would be legal in tournaments.

How are they gonna be legal for tourneys? All cards must have the same structure. The printed ones shall stick out of all decks. Unless one prints them out on cardboard, of course.

A piece of standard thickness paper inserted into a sleeve on top of another card provides an insignificant amount of thickness, nor does it disturb shuffling, nor is it able to be picked out of a lineup from the back. So, it'll work just fine. How are they gonna be legal for tourneys? All cards must have the same structure. The printed ones shall stick out of all decks. Unless one prints them out on cardboard, of course.

It shall in deed.
I just hope it's just a way to make the RPG business see we are a living organism, and pick the game up, rather than... the end. 'Cause this is surely not going to be a collectible expansion (with every body printing the amount she finds useful).

This is a fantasy. Furthermore the collectible nature of the game is moot since there is no company to support. It shall in deed.
