Time for negotiation after playing a card before terms are set

I don't know why some people continue to argue this point. It is settled. It was settled before this thread started.
Sure maybe the rule book could be improved to make this more clear. A single word change ought to do it.
When you are anvil, be patient; when a hammer, strike.

Dealing isn't allowed when announcing stuff

I'm with mister Peal on this matter.
revealing a pentex from your hand, and saying :" here, i will play pendex on someone, who will offer me best terms?" is an ass move, and should not be allowed.

@Pendargon:
Oh but it's not a dick move to play Reckless Agitation and basically do the same thing?
@Jeff Kuta:
Clearly not settled earlier. Get over it.

no. Because it is written as allowed in the rules for political actions.

As mentioned a bucketload of times, it is not written to EXCLUDE that same kind of debate when its a Master card... so it is fine. Until there is a concrete ruling to say "Yes you must not debate a Master card while attempting to play a Master card" then the rules support neither position more than the other.no. Because it is written as allowed in the rules for political actions.

That kind of logic is completely wrong.
Following that, nowhere does it say
: While playing master cards, please DO NOT debate it, DO NOT fart, pick your nose, dribble spit all over it, call other players rude names, toss paper rolls on them, DO NOT jump on the playing surface to dance Macarena or headbang to imaginary powermetal while pretending to play air-guitar.
Rules are not written to EXCLUDE things. THey are written in a way to tell you what and how to do , no more no less.
So, announce you are playing a card, announce terms, pay, wrap it up and move along.
Because, following your logic, it would be completely legal to say : " I will play Pentex subversin * show card, place on table*, but to determine on who i will put it on, i will assign a random number to each ready minion on the table, and then proceed to roll d20 to see who gets the pentex"
It is stupid and silly.
