Yes, I like the idea of more of these types decks tightly balance against each other — however the more decks that are added the harder the balancing task becomes.

Any balancing feedback would be great. I will add the decks to secret library and we can crowd source improvements / tweaks.

Perhaps if any one wants to contribute to this format they could simply create decks on secret library with the prefix: Basic VTES - Follow by the deck name ? From there all the decks they need to consider when building the deck would be searchable / comparable on secret library and available for others to build test...

To clarify the rules I used when designing the decks:

• Card text must be short — no walls of text.
• All cards must be understandable by card text alone.
• Pool spend must be managed via crypt + cards (consider starting with 20 pool).
• Ensure one or two of the oldest vampires have superior of the core discipline (exact number deck dependant).
• Minimise keywords / concepts by avoiding: bahari, research, triffle, anarch, blackhand, infernal, etc... (these delicacies can be introduced if they pick up the game).
• Try to ensure that no deck _completely_ trumps another.
• Minimise bloat to help ensure games are quick (no powerbase timeout for example).
• No recursion. However perhaps consider a once per game shuffle ash heap to library like the draft rule (due to deck sizes).

At a glance I thought intercept department as well as entering combat was severely lacking, but quite a lot of stealth to go around in the decks.

IIRC, only one deck had rushes and was the one that also had intercept..

Description:
Strong defense and strong but very basic animalism combat. Antedeluvian Awakening and Smiling Jack can make some quick games, but their correct use may require some training, so maybe give this deck out to somebody who has already had few games with some of the other decks.
