With this:
Mental maze,
Obedience,
Mirror walk,
Change of target,
Bind the Night-Walker,
Bloodstorm of Chorazin,
Framing, The,
Psychomachia,
Red Herring,
All fall under the action end, so this skips the magic layer where Dabbler works.
Because Dabbler's wording "during a turn" - Once each turn, after an action (successful or not) is resolved is limited only to that magic window after action resolution and action Ending, thus it falls under Action Modifier and Reaction for End of Action(Actions that are ended are over: action modifiers and reactions cannot be played anymore.)?

Wording that should match the rulebook should be:
"Action ends: Skip block and action resolution"
With this, you make it clear.
On the question, "How" did the action resolve? It didn't. Thus, there is no double language where it was (unsuccessful). And it shuts down any other effects.
