The firm hand rules all

The Camarilla is an exclusive organization of vampires that speaks for and legislates its members all over the world (at least, in theory). Bound by a number of Traditions detailing the creation, behavior and destruction of Kindred, the sect also strives to hide to existence of all vampire activity from mortal eyes. This deception, called the Masquerade, is at the core of the Camarilla's existence; the struggle to universally uphold the Masquerade is what drives much of the sect's policy and direction.

This set is a fixed assortment of 120 cards for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle – 33 library cards and 87 crypt cards of clans Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian and Nosferatu. All were first created for the original Keepers of Tradition expansion 2008, since long out of print and in great demand among players.

Note: One of the crypt cards, Osric Vladislav, was left out of the original Keepers of Tradition print run and is here available for the first time.

VEKN (Vampire Elder Kindred Network) is a website for VtES (Vampire the Eternal Struggle) players around the world. Our discussion forums are available to all players globally. To maintain that platform as welcoming and user friendly as possible, users are asked to follow these simple guidelines.

The Golden Rule

“Post unto others as you would have them post unto you.”

In the Elysium everyone is granted a safe passage. Use the best of your manners, respect others and take a moment to think before you post. This will get you far.

Remember that as a user of VEKN forums you might be the one giving a first impression of the VtES community to visitors. Make sure you leave a pristine impression.
There is power in words. Use it for the good of the community.

Forum subsections

Make sure you are posting on the right forum subsection. Use the search function before posting a new thread, as your question might have been answered before.

Rules questions

When posting a rules question on the forums, always include the full card texts for reference! The most recent card texts can be found here:

Language and register

English is the main language of the forums (but we do have a Spanish subsection). However, not everyone is a native English speaker, so:
•    Write easy to understand English
•    Do not correct others for their English
Profanities slip past every now and then but remember to always strive for a clean and respectful tone fit for any public space.
Refrain from posting other people’s personal information, no matter the reason. Respect people’s privacy.
The forums should be Safe For Work. Insulting, pornographic, abusive or otherwise questionable iconography or images are prohibited.

Argumentation and discussion

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But, remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

•    Name-calling
•    Ad hominem attacks
•    Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
•    Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation. Getting personal will not be tolerated.
Keep the topic to the original intent. Do not derail them unnecessarily.

Topics of Discussion

VEKN forums are dedicated to VtES discussion. Please avoid starting topics on, or derailing discussion into:
•    Politics
•    Religion
•    Race
•    Sexual orientation
While all of the above are respected, they do not belong on the VEKN forums.

Forum Signature and Avatar

Signature lengths and avatar picture sizes are limited by the forum design. Do not include profanities or pornographic or insulting material in them.

Moderation

Moderators and admins maintain these guidelines and see to that they are followed. Their word is final.
