Extending the "Any" Grouping. Thoughts ?

To all V:tes Players :

Would you feel confortable if all the "non unique" vampires were given the "Any" Grouping status, so they can fit in any deck ?

Would that rekindle some love for the Fidai, the Aabt Kindred ? Would you try some cool stuff with the Hordes and Gr2 baalis ?

I think that at least grotesque should be any group, and maybe horde and abbt. but henrietas and tupdogs would be less obvious. tupog should stay at its grouping, and hermenas may become over the top if every bb grouping to be designed in the future has to account for them being playable with them.

but our playgroup has said non uniques should be any group for awhile.

don't forget the "circle" limitation that prevents hermanas from being über powerful no matter the grouping

(and yes, I think gr 1-2 tremere can use the grotesque too, with the splash of fortitude on prince, justicar and her archon. At least it's better that never seeing them in play because of said grouping limitations)

Well, it depend of the vampires.

Aabt kindred linked to a group with Nefertiti seem overall logical (anyway, only her can embrace thoses thingies).

Tupdog should stay gr2 to avoid anything too dangerous occuring. Otherwise there is not too much reason they can't be created by other !tremere.

Hordes, Fidai and grotesques could be any group without troubling me. I don't see too much use for hordes or Fidai, but grotesque could realistically became a lot more usable.

As a corollary what about Angelo - is there any reason he shouldn't be group Any?

The Imbued could also be ANY (if not NONE ): why allow Beatrice with Germaine but not with Beast?
