for me the appeal of no grouping is that i have few cards.

crypt cards are extremely cheap

im not allowed to buy any more cards.

anyhow, i had another idea.

hows any 3 non consecutive groups OR 3 consecutive groups sound?

1/3/5 , 2/4/6 , 1-3 , 2-4, 3-5, 4-6
this opens up many interesting possibilities without breaking much?

OR simply any 2 groups

surely any 2 groups is tame enough.

In your local games, you can have house rules, like not using the grouping rule, as long as all players are ok with that.
If you have a very limited selection of crypt cards, that approach seems fine.

Once you can enlarge your collection of crypt cardsy, you stop using the house rules.

Of course, tournaments are still using the no-grouping rule, so you'd have to come up with a plan to obtain more cards you need eventually.

Then buy more cards and quit your bitching.

There are THOUSANDS of boxes available for almost every clan + Imbued which will make plenty of excellent, tier 1 decks. You can obtain a box of starters and two boxes of boosters for about $200. If you can't find these then I'll personally sell them to you. There are also many, many $1 and $2 auctions on eBay for you to obtain hundreds of staple cards.

If you don't want to spend some money then print-on-demand isn't going to help you. You know that, right?

We had this discussion awhile ago and the best suggestion was to allow group 1 to join with the highest group (6).
