I would also add that there is two different source of agitation here.

First, the incompletely exposed custom rule mean people think he have less fun than what he could, and frustrations ensue when the OP think it's a bad idea. (in addition to mean advices are a bit off ; with PTO authorized I believe the first advice is "play camarilla instead of Osebo")

And then, there is people frustrated by the fact that very few knowledge from, say, vtesone.wordpress.com/ or secret library to be extremely improved, without even touching the fact the archetype is very difficult to play. It's extremely bad and still human.

Also, when someone say he has some experience and took clue from experienced player, and then play Blood Puppy and Burnt Offering, my guts reaction is to believe he is a beginner.

Generally good advice, I think. Osebo are hard to play.

I can normally understand your points, but I'm afraid I don't understand this. Do you mean that you expect tarantalus to have already familiarized himself with extrala and the other information out there on VTES? If so, I think that's an unreasonable standard, and actually one toward which we shouldn't want to aim: it's preferable to have people coming here for interactive advice than going to a static page, since it gives the community a chance to show how supportive and active it can be. ...In theory.
